The Royal Army has deployed Victorian forces to the allied nations of France, Turkey, and Moldova in order to meet Victoria's obligations as an ally. These units are to assist in training local forces and maintaining a high degree of readiness for joint operations within the Covenant. They will also show Victoria's willingness to enact military measures to defend its allies.

The capital was the site of the third royal marriage of Queen Catharine Akinyi al Victoria to Shi Zhelan, the so-called Flame Emperor of China. The wedding was open to the Victorian public and included significant pyrotechnic displays, and a report that one of the members of the former British royal family was seriously injured during festivities.

The capital is the scene of chaos after an unknown assailant shot Queen Catharine al Victoria. The Queen was giving a speech on the continuing need for Victoria's presence across the world, in the face of ongoing outbreaks of the German Flu and hostile imperial powers. The would-be assassin attacked the Queen with a pistol and landed at least one of his shots, though the Queen survived. Queen Catharine, in response to the attack, leaped from the stage and raced to the man, dispatching him with her dress sword before the Royal Guard or city security could reach him. Preliminary reports suggest that the attacker was killed at the scene.

The Royal Army has placed procurement orders for five brigade strengths of attack helicopters.

The Royal Army Ground Service has begun undertaking a reorganization in order to bring the military in line with projected needs in the new and coming decades.

The Royal Army has announced a significant reorganization of its forces. The announcement came from Crown Princesses Khadija al Victoria, who spoke of the need to modernize Victorian forces. The Crown Princess spoke at a press conference held at the Royal Army College of Kenya (RACK), during which she praised the Republic of China’s successful shift from what she called “a bloated fighting force, a relic of their desperate fights for survival, to a professional standing army able to meet global deployment needs.”

Victoria’s own reorganization has seen the focus of the RAGS shift from division sized units to agile and elite brigades. This downsizing of the military has seen significant numbers of Victorians without formal military employment. All former members of the Royal Army have been offered employment with House Daimon or House Victoria, if they do not already have employment available within their own House. The Royal Army will now also conduct entry tests for potential recruits, to ensure that only the best serve in the military.

House Daimon will, as outlined by the Crown Princess, serve as the legal basis for Victorian private military contractors. Members of House Daimon will receive training in handling civilian populations, as well as non-lethal activities. Their training will also include specialized environmental training, based on the theater the House expects to deploy its members to. Membership is open to Victorians and members of the Covenant alike.

The Royal Army Ground Service has commissioned the training and equipage of seven artillery brigades and one mechanized brigade. The Royal Army Pilot Service has commissioned the production of an additional five squadrons of fighter aircraft; additionally, five squadrons of combat helicopters are to begin production. The Royal Army Maritime Service has commissioned the production of a new fleet carrier.

New RAPS facilities have been ordered in East Kenya and Tabora. A third Project Ikulu facility is to be constructed in Tabora.

Reconnaissance satellites are expected to launch to renew the RIP's Watchtower program.

The RAMS has commissioned the construction of 5 Satima class anti-air warships.

Naval facilities are to be upgraded in East Tanzania and East Kenya provinces. A low frequency antenna is to be constructed in East Kenya. A radar facility is to be constructed in North Uganda.
