To whom it may concern,
Though Argentina's predecessor, Barovia, was a fellow Communist state, the SRA and Barovia disagreed on a great number of political stances to the point we in Atlanta actively distanced ourselves from Barovia. That said we are pleased to find a strong, stable government forming out of the ashes of Barovia, and although we suspect our politics do not align, we believe there are mutual topics of interest for our states to discuss. At the minimum, we in Atlanta are very much established in the establishment of friendly relations.

Heading South (SRA-Argentina)
The following message was sent to the Argentine foreign embassy:
Re: Heading South (SRA-Argentina)
Once Argentina had gotten through the massive piles of unsorted communications and messages from the chaos of reorganization, a reply was finally sent back to the SRA
To the Socialist Republic of America,
You are correct in assuming our political stances do not quite align, though as a fellow nation of the Americas, we believe good relations will be amicable. Send an ambassador at your earliest convenience.

With a positive response sent, the State Department issued a reply, informing the Argentinean government that an American diplomat would be heading not just to take up a permanent post as ambassador to Argentina, but to begin open and frank talks with the Argentine government.
Re: Heading South (SRA-Argentina)
The ambassador was welcomed with a small--but luxurious--entourage, and given a day to rest before meeting with Argentine officials in the capital. After a short drive into the heart of the city--filled with more construction sites than intact buildings--they reached the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where Peron himself and a small escort were waiting.

Re: Heading South (SRA-Argentina)
The SRA's newest ambassador, Drake Vergoossen, headed into the building, extending his hand to shake Peron's. "President Peron, I'm excited to meet you," he said in near-fluent Spanish. "We in Atlanta are extremely pleased to see the rise of South American powers, especially on a global level like Argentina."
