World Basketball League, 1963 Season

Various world powers joined together to form the World Basketball League, or WBL, to organize an international basketball league composed of teams from across the globe that represent the peak physical fitness of the nation. The League's rules have been forwarded to all participating nations, with funding pooled together from a percentage of all nations to allow for building stadiums specially designed to host these events. When the world is finding itself increasingly at war, sport should be the ultimate peacekeeper!

OOC: Very simple things. To participate, give me your team name (e.g, German Tigers), team colors, and the coach's name as well as a few key players. I will simulate games and write news posts for highlight games. Players can write their own news posts in this thread or elsewhere about specific games or hiring/firing coaching staff or players. Significant news such as injuries etc will be in this thread.
