Federal Republic of Morocco

Post by Markus Wilding »

Surviving the plague was one thing. Building an effective post-colonial state was another.

After French control over Morocco waned and finally weakened entirely with the collapse of the French state in late 1946, Morocco also found itself split in two, from the northernmost elements and the southern provinces. The north-south split was most evident on the border regions between the two, where gas mask-clad men patrolled with their rifles near daily, waiting for the day that they too could claim themselves free from the German Flu.

Classified Actions

The southern border was watched daily and the seemingly evident issue of present German Flu meant that reunification was to be made with extra measures needed. NBC equipment was being sent to the border area daily as preparations for the operation to liberate the southern areas and eventual reunification continued. Observation reports were to continue with an intelligence profile being constructed.

The main effort would be to destroy the forces in the border areas and cut the remaining units in the bulge jutting into friendly territory. Continuous bombing raids on targets would be attempted with limiting of civilian casualties being a priority. However friendly forces were to be protected as best as possible, with infrastructure destruction being given necessity status if it prevents friendly losses.

The Moroccan Air Force and Morroccan Navy will commit a significant portion of its strength to provide cover support and provide strikes against targets if required.

Public Actions

The border would remain as it had been since the formation of the Republic, patrols were mounted and a semblance of normality was made out to be the case. The patrol's and normal activities were to be persisted right up until the order to attack was given.
