Sir,

It is my pleasure to report that both projects mentioned in previous review have now reached a satisfactory stage of development. The new stabiliser system on the interim model is now fully tested, and both myself and my Korean counterpart deem the current iteration of upgrade package fit for full production.

My counterpart continues to insist that even with the new engine and optics, the interim model remains inferior to current iterations of their 2M65. However, it is my recommendation that we adopt the interim model as a stop-gap pending the results of the joint board currently evaluating possibilities for the 2M65's successor.

As for the new scout tank, we have now thoroughly tested all six prototypes and the results have exceeded our expectations. In particular, the 30mm autocannon resulting from the Joint Unified Munitions Programme has proven highly reliable, and I am confident in recommending it for consideration in future designs.

It is my recommendation that we proceed fully with the production of both models.

Classified Report wrote:...in conclusion, given the ROCAF's upcoming capability upgrades, the ability to deliver ordnance and supplies to detached forces of this nature should be well within the ability of existing logistical units at current deployment levels, and will continue to be so under new deployment levels as well.

Thus, we strongly recommend that the Heavy Air-Mobile Brigade (Upgrade and Rearmament) General Equipment Requirement be implemented immediately, with the relevant resources to be allocated from within the existing discretionary project reserve.

Have read report re: HAMBURGER, can't understand half the jargon, but basic principles seem simple enough and project requirements are within scope of current plan for Armed Forces modernisation.

Expenditure should fit within existing allocations for Combined Arms Modernisation Project. Will consult with rest of the Executive Yuan at meeting tomorrow.

P.S. Acronym is amusing, if only workable in english. If SRA finds out, we can always claim we are just manufacturing barbeque grills.
