Bulgaria would like to bring forth sanctions and open the floor for potential punitive actions against India for their illegal covert actions against Bulgaria, including arms smuggling and supporting radical anti-government groups in Bulgaria.

The Kingdom of Italy will vote in favor of sanctions, but will refrain from voting on punitive actions.

The Victorian delegate arranged for folders of information on the situation in Bulgaria to be provided. Those folders detailed activities by a group named Sombra, namely in smuggling arms and disseminating propaganda.

"While it's clear that someone is, indeed, active in Bulgaria. It is equally clear that it is not an action of India. This Sombra Collective has been implicated in several anti-state actions across the world. We cannot allow this group to succeed in their goal of driving us apart.

"In light of this evidence regarding the true culprits, Victoria must vote against any sanctions."

Korea would merely add that the WEST alliance would hardly be the first to be deceived by the Sombra Collective, and vote against sanctions.

Given the evidence presented and the fact that India has never previously expressed any interest in projecting power outside its immediate geographical region, the Government of the Republic of China must conclude that it is almost certain than the Kingdom of India was not responsible for the actions it is being accused of. Thus, the Republic votes against sanctions.

Privately, the Chinese delegate rather snarkily confides to his staff that if it had been the Indians, they would have blown their cover almost immediately, and would have somehow lost a carrier battle group and sixty thousand troops in the bargain.

The SRA votes against sanctions, while simultaneously opening the discussion of creating an oversight committee to determine where the weapons are actually coming from and hopefully curtail their illegal distribution.

---

The UN as a whole rejects sanctions given the evidence. A majority vote for the SRA's proposal.

Given the ongoing situation in the Kingdom of Chad, Korea inquires via the UN if Chad is willing to accept a UNDF deployment to assist it in repelling the attackers - and additionally, calls for a general vote to impose economic sanctions upon the Mali Empire, as the primary instigator - with the option of extending these sanctions to Sudan, the Central African Republic, and Nigeria.
