...Madagascorp Announces new CEO!
The controversial departure of former Madagascorp CEO Kai Thompson has left industry experts across the Madagascar territory concerned for the well being of the country. Thompson's mismanagement of the enterprise led to shaky ground amongst government officials and the public, leaving many to wonder until now whether Madagascar would fall entirely by the wayside, or cling on for dear life. The election of new CEO chair Dante Schmidt has eased common concerns raised by officials as he vows to leverage Madagascorp's impressive military assets for the betterment of the people, and begin a new age of global commerce as led by none other than Madagascorp.

Today, Madagascorp revealed an extremely wide-sweeping extension of their previous labor and military programs, meeting cheers from many destitute workers at their press conference earlier today. While the details of their military expansion are largely confidential, promises to advance public works programs, infrastructure, and social welfare systems have been made by the corporation. Whether their expansion will pan out has yet to be seen, although our sources state that many citizens of Madagascar have already been approached for work on Madagascorp's grand plan.

Today, Madagascorp military industry professionals published a report outlining the success of their division and congratulating workers throughout Madagascar for their hard work towards peacekeeping operations globally. The Madagascorp Military Industrial division has kept quiet on the exact nature of their development, although they recently made headlines for the performance of their upcoming products at international events and evaluations. This report concluded with optimism and bright thinking about the division, remarking that they had received an even larger volume of orders than in 1973 and were very pleased to meet demand in the upcoming fiscal years.

"...recently come under fire for arms dealing with "Merc Scar," the leader of the Legionairres[sic] group currently operating under UNDF command. Despite these demands, the MadagasCorp Military Development program or the MCMD, is continuing to process orders for new military hardware with unknown destinations. Critics of the MCMD have been routinely dismissed by Madagascorp officials as standing in the way of the island's progress and considerable financial growth.
Madgascorp has also partnered with SkyReach to begin production of space shuttles and orbital satellites, citing desires to compete in the developing orbital infrastructure market. Details of the partnership have not yet been released in full, although the new Madagascar Space Division has volunteered information of a large-volume order for the first round of orbital vehicles..."
