Re: The United Nations
"The Kingdom of India is not interested in entertaining baseless slander from the Iranian communists. The Iranians must provide proof of their claims, or not make them at all in such a fashion on this forum. Just as the Iranians posit that we in India have a vested interest in defending our honor, so too does Iran have motive to shift the blame."

Proposed economic sanctions against India are passed. UN member states are expected to immediately cease trade with the Kingdom of India, especially noting the suspension of sales of coal, ores, machinery and chemicals to the Kingdom.

Cascadia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Argentina, and Cuba pledge troops for the UN mission. Dozens of other states pledge logistical support.

Iran produces the body of the would-be assassin and documents regarding planned attacks by india on Egyptian infrastructure.

"A corpse who can only be identified by documentation you yourself have produced is proof of absolutely nothing. Save, perhaps, for your depressing lack of decorum."
Re: The United Nations
"Frankly, I'm just surprised he got that thing through security. It's not all that difficult to conceal an explosive device or a holdout pistol inside a corpse." Dong Yin observed placidly.
"What?"
"What?"

Shrug: what I got for a message is as follows:
Iranian intelligence discovers a failed assassination attempt on the Egyptian Premier, which failed. The agent was captured, but uses her cyanide pill to kill herself before she could be forced to give up any information. Deeper digging indicates the Kingdom of India backed the play, and have paid agents to destroy critical Egyptian infrastructure in preparation for a coup to force the Egyptian government out.
Details of the event will be displayed as they are noted.

In any event, we appear to have spoiled any surprise action on their behalf. We shall see what happens. The world will believe what it wants to. We dont care. We've done the right thing.
The world will do what it wants, and so shall the people's republic. We expect nothing from the UN.

Re: The United Nations
"Egypt can confirm that an operative was captured and used her cyanide pill to commit suicide during capture. The body that Iran has laid before the forum - while rather grisly, we admit - is the one we captured. Our investigation has shown the assassin has ties in Indian military intelligence."
---
Australia has proposed 1) the body of the assassin be removed for security and health reasons and 2) that all non-Bangladeshi combatants in Bangladesh are urged to leave, with a joint UN blockade to prevent the sale and shipment of arms to the warring factions.

Re: The United Nations
The Republic of China suggests that the civil war in Bangladesh has already drawn in the interest of multiple regional powers, and that any chance of containing the conflict has long since passed.
The Republic of China would also like the body removed from the General Assembly chamber, and would like to note to the Iranian representative that in future, photographic evidence should suffice.

Re: The United Nations
"The Kingdom of India has been suddenly and deliberately attacked by an unknown force, which we believe is composed entirely of submarines, while heading home after conduction operations in Bangladesh. We have reason to believe that a member of the United Nations has used the chaos of the conflict to inflict this cowardly and illegal attack on the Indian Navy, especially since the Kingdom of India's intelligence services can confirm that Bangladesh does not have the capacity to operate submarines, much less submarines which are able to destroy the entirety of the Indian Navy's remaining fleet."
