Furuki snorted softly, “Whether you bear ill will on a formal level or not, when soldiers become over eager to show their strength against a group they deem an enemy, accidents tend to occur. I’m not cautioning against deliberate acts, but against those errors in judgment that young men and women tend to make that can have fatal consequences when made at the controls of a warplane. We, of all people, know exactly how bad things can get when soldiers start acting on those sorts of emotions. Even in an organized, disciplined, army. It’s not for nothing that our courts are still ensuring that the war criminals of the IJA are prosecuted.”

Seong's gaze went from carefully-neutral to aggressively flat. "I see. Are you to say, General, that we should not trust the discipline of Japanese troops?" Without waiting for an anser, he turned to Gushiken. "Our soveriengty patrols are exactly that - they will rarely, if ever, leave Korean airspace or waters. If there is a problem with that..." he shrugged, leaving the it's not on us unsaid. "However, I digress. Shall we retire for the moment and communicate to our respective governments?"

The General let out a short, sharp, bark of a laugh. Gushiken inclined her head slightly to the Koreans, “A break seems… Wise at the moment.” She turned to Furuki, “Supreme Commander Furuki, would you consent to escort me back?”

Furuki pushed herself up to her feet and eyed the other woman. “Are you sure you can trust in my discipline, Secretary?” She waved off the other woman’s nervous response before it could become fully formed, “A joke, Yukina. Let’s go.”
