Aragon's Centre for Technical Studies of Special Materials (CETME) is interested in submitting their Model K rifle to the Socialist Republics' Advanced Combat Rifle program. Chambered in commercially available 5.56x45mm, the not-particularly-light rifle makes use of the same roller-delayed blowback action as the Model C in use by the Aragonese military, in fact, they're overall so similar that the only significant difference between them is the bolt group, barrel, magazine, and length of the handguard. While the submitted examples will be provided with proprietary magazines, it is noted that they can be relatively easily modified to accept most competing designs. It is also noted that there are many colour choices available if they opt for polymer furniture instead of wood, which are readily available and fully interchangeable.
OOG: It's just an HK33.

The CETME Model K has been approved for trials, with requests made for both 5.56 and 7.62 caliber variants for Army and Marine Corps testing.
