The Madagascorp embassy in the SRA sends a request for an official with authority regarding arms deals, offering shipments of its Galil assault rifle in NATO 5.56 and 7.62mm calibers as well as its Milan ATGMs.

A subsequent meeting showed that the Socialist Republic Army was satisfied with the RGM-74 ATGM, but the Army was interested in fielding several 5.56mm caliber Galils for the upcoming Advanced Combat Rifle program. Madagascorp officials are also formally invited to observe the trials once the Army begins full-scale trials and testing.
