The small, private airfield at which President Connally flew in at had a hoard of expectant attendees; the common hog-men of Arkansas rarely involved themselves in foreign politics and were content to keep discourse among themselves as hog-men. The limited nature of government in the Parishes meant that an actual Government Man such as President Connally almost never showed and this was a prime opportunity for the hog-men to be able to see something they may never again see in their lives.

Actor Fallguard waited for Connally to disembark the plane before approaching, no guards or retinue in sight.

"Ni haody," came the greeting, applicable for both Americans and Chinese for some reason. "I hope you won't mind doing a bit of an impromptu meet-and-greet, if you'd like. If not, I'm sure the gentlemen assembled would understand. It's just not every day they get to see a President."

"Not quite on the schedule," Connally said, before looking to his security team and nodding. "But, I think we can make some time. After all, this is the first time a sitting American president has visited the Parishes."
