Comrades, neighbours by sea, and fellow regional powers were invited to a trade conference in Edinburgh attended by Ireland's Andy Barr, Minister of Finance with accomodations provided by the Balmoral. After all representatives were present and situated, proceedings commenced.

To promote prosperity, development, security, and freedom of trade and movement in Europe, the establishment of an economic union regulated by a new international organisation representing all member states is proposed. The Treaty Organisation for this Economic Zone would exist not only to regulate, but also to form and direct international efforts to assist less developed nations.

Furthermore, the creation of optional, additional agreements supported by the Treaty Organisation, most notably ones for standardisation of justice and an international court, a mutual defensive alliance with an international strategic council, and the creation and adoption of a new common currency are proposed.

The invited delegates appeared, curious as to the specifics behind the trade conference and its purpose - especially given the rather indifferent relations between some of the invited members.
