"IRAN WAS HERE, ALL ALONG!"
Iran entered the united nations six months ago during construction of this new building.
it only revealed itself now to the world.
A massive crash of curtains revealed the stage. lights of fireworks went off in all directions surrounding it in a ring of sparkly fire.

Granted its socialist, but... what.
as the flames died down, half a platoon of men stood with half a platoon of women, in immaculate https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pahlavi_hat s. suddenly dances happen with each pair swirling around magnificently in ballet moves.
At the center arose one above them all. she was caught by a trio.
Representative Kobra ((I legit had a person named Kobra from iran working in my store. so, to her honor.))
Kobra Sawat. She had a perfectly crimped bun of hair behind her head, dark, with full eyebrows. She descended the throne at a leisurely pace, before eventually settling down at a newly lowered desk from right out the hell of nowhere.
it's official. she is a commander in the navy, and thus KOBRA KOMMANDER.

"Representative Kobra Anastasius Sawat." her eyes, black and hazel as embering coals peered around the world.

Let those who would stand in the way of progress be ended."

Re: The United Nations
The new United Nations building, constructed in Washington D.C. several miles away from the White House, was truly a testament to the new American order. The brutalist art-deco style could accurately be regarded by most outsiders as positively depressing, dreary, and authoritarian, but to the American people it solidified their new role in the world. They may not have led the world in founding the UN like the United States had in 1917 with the League of Nations, but at least this time the American people knew when they sent their boys overseas, it was for a good cause. Visiting UN diplomats to Washington D.C. were treated almost like celebrities - American civilians wanted their pictures taken with Victorian representatives, listened intently to tales of valor spun up by the Chinese, and strolled hand-in-hand with their Iranian counterparts. The local Socialist Republic Army military policemen from the 4th Infantry Division, more often than not, turned a blind eye to whatever local laws the diplomats happened to break, instead giving them a smirk and a soft "don't do it again" warning each time. Furthermore, UN diplomats were almost universally never subjected to the same restrictions and curfews that American citizens had to endure - for better or worse. Sure, the SRA still made sure that a majority of news stalls around the city carried the New York Times, WaPo, and Atlanta Daily Post, but foreign journals were almost as frequent.
All in all, the new face of America was shown to the world.
---
This proved to be an excellent backdrop for the UN's first new challenge in 1963. The representative from Kazakhstan, a frail old man with more liver spots than hairs on his head adjusted his smart folk glasses, reading off a prepared note as the first new session of the UN began on January 8th, 1963.
"Friends of peace and democracy," he began, his hands shaking from his own old age than any nervousness, "we in Kazakhstan require the UN's help. Our military and police have been unable to effectively contain partisan and violent militias that plague our nation. We humbly request peacekeepers to help us secure our country and stop the very fabric of Kazakh society from being torn apart. With the UN's help, we believe the July elections can be held and the next government can bring true peace to Kazakhstan."
The matter was put to a vote shortly after, with a vast majority of countries voting in favor. The only holdouts were hyperpartisan nations that never would have sent a delegation anyway. The measure is passed, and already pledges are made.
Whether anyone but the government wanted it, the UN is heading to Kazakhstan.

Re: The United Nations
Victoria's delegate in the United Nations updated the Kingdom's paperwork with the organization. The new documents included the details for a new "Tranquil Host", a field army of more than a hundred thousand troops and material. The Tranquil Host was dedicated to UN Peacekeeping operations on a permanent basis.
