Jus In Bello Open Beta

Heya, welcome back to the Seref Games forums. We've been working for a bit on some games, and first to be ready to go is Jus In Bello. And guess what?! We’re opening up a Beta Campaign on our message boards and you can play now!
The new game: Jus In Bello is a national level RPG. What’s that mean? It’s a game where you don’t just control one character, you control an entire nation. If you ever played some turn based strategy games, and really wished there was a way to RP more as your nation instead of just throwing your units at some silly AI, this is the sorta game for you. JiB’s specifically been designed for online (forum) campaigns, but it could be played as a pen and paper game if folks wanted.
JiB takes place in an alternate history world, initially set in the year 1950. A biological weapon, the German Flu, has caused global havoc at the tail end of WW2, and the world is just starting to pick itself up from the plague’s ravages. You get to grab some land, stat yourself out using our simple point system, and go vie for world dominance (or get people to cooperate, if that’s your thing).
We’ve got a pretty solid set of rules, but we want to make sure they work for folks who haven’t been involved in the development process. That’s where you all come in. We’re gonna run the open beta campaign as if it were a real game, and at the end of it we’ll know if our game’s ready to go to copy editing and layout. Ideally there shouldn’t be any hiccups at this stage in things.
